ADD Exam

The ADD Exam (required for the Level 2 ADD Specialist Certificate) is held three times a year: NSGCD Conference, NAPO Conference, and POC Conference.


Qualifying Requirements

The ADD Exam is only open to members of the NSGCD. Upcoming candidates for ADD Specialist may take the ADD Exam providing they have received their Level II CD Specialist Certificate and have taken the Basic ADD Issues Teleclass within the last two (2) years.


ADD Exam Components

The ADD Exam is only open to members of the NSGCD. Upcoming candidates for ADD Specialist may take the ADD Exam providing they passed the General Exam and have taken the Basic ADD Issues Teleclass. The reading material needs to have been read. Attendance at the Study Sessions is optional. See ADD Study Session section below.

Fees

The fee to take the ADD Exam will be $123.00. Those passing the exam will receive a Certificate of Passing. This document is required for completion of the ADD Specialist Certificate.

Study Sessions in development

There will be a facilitated study session at conference.

Post-Exam Requirements and Applications

The ADD Specialist Certificate will be granted provided the specific application requirments are met within 2 years of taking the ADD Exam. These include earning a Level II CD Specialist Certificate, earning the Level I Basic Understanding of ADD Issues with the CD Client Certficate and taking an additional six ADD teleclasses from the NSGCD.
